   The food was very good. Our service was good except for one thing and I’m not sure how this can be handled. When we placed our orders, we had an appetizer course and the next course some had ordered soup some had ordered salad. I had barely finished a half a cup of soup before the entrée was served. Then when we finished our entire meal, it was exactly 1 hour from the time we sat down. I would have preferred that the entrée not be served until we had some time to enjoy the second course. That said, I think if we come again, which we probably will, we won’t put in the order for our Andre until after we’re finished with the other courses.

   Our brunch reservation was for 1:30. We were 20 minutes late and although the kitchen was supposed to close at 2:00, we were able to take our time in ordering, our server, Maddie, was very patient and polite, and the food was delicious.

   Service was quick and efficient. Waitress was attentive without being too intrusive. Food was very good.

   Awesome first time here on a Friday around 5:30. Started with the pecan old fashioned. Perfect old fashioned for me as I like mine a little more sweet than bitter and served over one large ice cube with a cherry. I had the short rib and it was fantastic. Almost like a perfectly cooked pot roast. Comfort food for sure. My wife had the fillet medallions and very much liked except she didn't notice that the potatoes or steak or something had gorgonzola cheese on them and she wasn't a fan. Had she seen it on the menu she would have ordered without but that's not the fault of the restaurant. Warm inviting dining room. Friendly, attentive service. Priced on the high side for what you get, but within reason. We will definitely be back.

   We've been here many times over the years, but it’s not the same anymore. The hostess seated us by the kitchen, even though there were other open tables. Our server was attentive at first, but once her friends arrived, service slowed. We were left with empty drinks for 20 minutes, and when our food arrived, our dirty plates hadn’t been cleared. The food was good, but some dishes were cold or just lukewarm. This place used to be a Delaware gem, but not anymore.

   Comfort food taken to a higher level. Nice wine list. The night we were there it was a 9 out of 10 loud which made hearing the server and even each difficult at times. On the flip side, nice to see a restaurant busy.

   We were greeted by a nice and polite host, then we were seated in a timely manner. This is where the good stopped. The restaurant was so noisy it was difficult to communicate with the server. Our drink order got messed up. When our food was brought to the table by someone other than our server, at which point we noticed that 2 of the 3 orders were incorrect, the decision was made that we would go ahead and try to enjoy the meals with the exception of needing some salt and pepper. When we asked the second server for some we were rudely responded to that we would have to ask our original server. The original server did not return for at least 10-15minutes, we had went ahead and ate. The food was very bland, we were never offered a second round of drinks. We will not be returning!

    charging $1 for an ice cube in a cocktail and .50 for a taste of wine is a turn off. the filet had grissle.
