Jambalaya was good! I grew up an hour from New Orleans and find that the dish was pretty similar to what you would expect in NOLA

The food was marginal. Overcooked rice and shrimp with sauce that tasted canned. Hire new cooks.

We sat in the heated and roofed front patio. Had Jambalaya, Etouffe, Gambo and the Shrinp&grits. Everything was excellent. Cocktails where fabulous - the apple spice one and cinnamon whisky sour - so appropriate for the fall. Yum yum!

This would be a 1-star if not for a very friendly server, who seemed to try hard. But this was a strange Thursday night dinner for my wife and I, and another couple. It was an early dinner as we were headed to a show, but at 5:30 there was not another soul in the place. The main dining area and the outdoor area smells very strongly of the upstairs cigar bar - so not great. Getting the beer order right was a challenge from the start, as one of the first ones served was sour and there was a long, strange interaction to get that corrected. On the plus side, the fries and wings appetizer were solid. The shrimp and greats were inedible. Shrimp were overcooked and tough and the grits were more like watery mashed potatoes. There was a salad that was just OK as was the burger. All of this and the bill was $225 before tip. Huge disappointment.

The service was really good. The food was just okay. I’d go back for drinks, but not for dinner.

Nice service but limited food choice and just ok food. Salad great. Shrimp and grits not hot enough and shrimp had a freezer burn texture.

We visited for the first time for restaurant week. The seafood gumbo , entrees and dessert we had were all excellent and our server was great. We plan to come back!
