    We were a party of 4 for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent! Ryan, our server was fantastic! Highly recommend 22 Bowens! We’ll be back.

    Food was outstanding, Tuna and Rack of Lamb cooked to perfection. Wine list is over priced for the most part and to have a 30 dollar + Manhattan was a bit expensive for my liking when you would like to have a bottle of wine and or a couple of drinks to enjoy your evening and meal. Suggest having your favorite wine or drink at home before you venture out for a nice meal.

    We’ve been members for over 20 years. We got a table on the upper outside deck and it was freezing Salads were messed up twice. Very busy and disorganized

    Initially seated at 2 person table squeezed between two 4 person tables with waiters back side to your left and right when they were serving those 4 person tables. Ridiculous and asked to be moved which they did. Dutchie oysters were okay only but everything else halibut and filet were great.

    I ordered the new york strip steak. It wasn’t cooked to my liking ( a little over cooked) and it was tough. I expected it to melt in my mouth for $52. My wife ordered the roasted half chicken. The sauce and the carrots were delicious but the chicken was greasy. Again, for $34, my wife expected it to be amazing. The service was good and the atmosphere was very nice but the food needs to be exceptional at those prices.

    This restaurant is great for special occasions, such as a birthday. For lunch, we shared fried calamari. I had the French onion burger and a side salad. (Australian wagyu patty, french onion jam, crispy onion straws, havarti & gruyere, roasted garlic aïoli, toasted onion roll). Very tasty. Husband has a shrimp po boy sandwich with a side salad. For dessert, we had yummy chocolate gelato. Our server, Ryan, was very attentive. The restaurant was fully staffed, so our food came out at a good pace.
