Abalonetti Bar and Grill is one of the original restaurants on Monterey's Historic Fisherman's Wharf. Great experience. Waiter was very friendly and knew the menu very well. Food was flavorful and served quickly. Calamari was great. Ordered 2 baskets for a party of 6 it was just enough. We all tried different menu items and they were all great no complaints at all. Clam chowder was nice and thick.

Swordfish entree was very disappointing and was not presented as described on the menu. Executive chef should take a closer look at how to prepare this dish or remove it from the menu entirely. A large pool of marinara, an indescribable white sauce on top and unevenly cooked vegetables. Not a great birthday dinner.

Great cioppino and squid Siciliano! We started with raw oysters and clam chowder, which was some of the best we've had. Even the iced tea was great!

The food was excellent, and service was fantastic also. I brought my family here on a Saturday afternoon, and we had a wonderful experience! The calamari was perfetto! All of us 5 thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a high quality, reasonably priced restaurant on Monterey’s Wharf. Thank you, all!

The bartender seemed to be bothered and disinterested because we had asked for extra ice. The food was bland and just not as expected. Overall just not the best meal we had for our first night of vacation.

Fun and good place to eat on the wharf. Waitress was nice and helpful but did not know much about the wine selections. Seafood fresh but not seasoned to perfection.
