Friday Jazz Afternoon Teas with Big Mart Available between 1pm and 4pm Enjoy our delicious afternoon tea accompanied by live jazz with acclaimed artist Martyn Winning (Big Mart), creating an enchanting atmosphere that perfectly complements your experience at The Montague on the Gardens. Saxaphone player Martyn C. Winning has an illustrious live performing career and recording sessions with a variety of artists on the UK scene (notably Van Morrison, Chris Farlowe, John Martyn, Dana Gillespie, Nick Lowe, Tanita Tikaram, The Proclaimers, and indie band Revolver (2)), and performed live with Ray Charles in 2003, at the Songwriter's Hall Of Fame Awards in New York.

Join us at the Winter Lodge for a unique pop-up dining experience featuring traditional Swiss cheese fondue. This special event celebrates timeless flavours using ingredients that are perfect for sharing. Discover the distinct and delicious tastes of Swiss cheeses like Gruyère and Vacherin as you follow the tradition of dipping crusty bread and new potatoes into the melting pot. Each two-hour session is designed for a cosy, memorable gathering. Please note that drinks are not included in this package. Our Afternoon Tea includes a scrumptious selection of warmly baked plain and raisin scones, delicious cakes, and freshly hand-cut sandwiches, including egg and mayo, smoked salmon, chicken, cucumber, and cream cheese. Enjoy our traditional afternoon tea at the exclusive price of £45 per person (usually £60) through to the end of March. Groups are welcome - private spaces are also available to celebrate your special occasions.
