Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar opened in 2009, reviving the former Amen name of Cumberland Street and restoring this historic corner. The new renovation stays true to the beauty of the original 1800's architecture while creating a comfortable atmosphere for contemporary life.

Located at 205 East Bay Street in the heart of the historic district this Charleston seafood restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining all within walking distance of the local Market and the Charleston Harbor.

The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as oysters, clams and shrimp in addition to an ever growing raw bar menu. Amen Street supports Charleston's local fishing industry with market fresh fish.

We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.

The blackened mahi mahi was fabulous, one of my favorite meals offered in downtown Charleston. Our server, Michael, was exceptionally good. A great evening at Amen Street Fish + Raw Bar!

We visited for this restaurant for the first time and have to say that we will visit each time in Charleston. My wife is celiac and the waiter was very knowledgeable and restaurant had many options. She had the New Bedford Sea Scallops, which were delicious. I tried the Lowcountry Bouillabaisse and it was very good. Highly recommend this as a go to restaurant in Charleston.

The food was amazing! We had the Rockefeller oysters, salmon, and scallops. Highly recommend! We did have to wait about 20 mins on top of our reservation but it was worth the wait. The staff was friendly.

Wonderful service, excellent food. Seated promptly when we arrived, and wait staff was very attentive. Drink orders taken right away, then appetizers, followed by main course. Everything was efficient. Would recommend to anyone visiting Charleston looking for a great meal that isn’t super expensive.

Always great at amen! Great oysters, great appetizers and entrées, get the calamari steak appetizer, super nice people.

We attended the oyster/wine pairing event and the food was spectacular. The chef definitely prepared some great dishes and the oysters were elegant. The halibut was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Wine and oyster education was very interesting. Definitely an event to attend!!
