   Upon arriving, I was really impressed with the ambiance within the bar/restaurant. We were seated and immediately provided hot bread and a delicious seasoned olive oil bowl to dip in. We ordered the calarmi appetizer and I could tell it was freshly made and seasoned lightly so that the flavor of the fish came through great. I ordered the short rib for dinner. It was one of the better short ribs I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and was served in a delicious brown sauce and excellent mashed potatoes. My wife ordered the carbonara and it was also top tier. Plenty of gunaciale and sauced coated the spaghetti. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience with superb service. Not only was it a wonderful restaurant, but it was also very affordable for the quality of meal you got. I've spent much more at lesser quality places. We will definitely be back soon!

   We have never been disappointed at Aqua Blu. I had Brodetto and my wife had Spaghetti and Meatballs. The pasta in both dishes was fresh and homemade. The Brodetto had the perfect level of mild spiciness and it was packed with seafood. The sauce on the spaghetti and meatballs was good and the dollop of ricotta was delicious and creamy. Service was great. There was noise in the bar but the dining room was quiet and easy to have a conversation.

   We booked late for Valentine’s Day and could only get a high top at the bar. When the hostess called to confirm our reservation she was so kind and asked if we would prefer a regular table in the dining area and if something opened up she would put us in. When we got to the restaurant it was beautiful and decorated with a huge balloon shaped heart for pictures. We didn’t take any, but it was cute. lol. The hostess sat us in a beautifully decorated room, the tables were spaced perfectly so you weren’t sitting too close to anyone and had privacy for conversations. The waiter was very friendly and attentive as well as the runners. We ordered the charcuterie butcher block, seafood tower and hanger steak. Everything was cooked perfectly and served with perfect timing. We finished the meal with the cannoli dessert. The cannoli’s were delicious, and we are tough critics because we are Italian! Lol Bottoms line….. everything was perfect and we look forward to returning!

    Probably the worst Christmas Eve dinner we have ever had. Waited 2 hours for our food, an hour and a half just for appetizers to come out. Appetizers were good. Our dinners on the other hand… we had to send back my mom’s dinner bc it was inedible chicken. So she did not eat dinner since we did not want to wait longer for another entree to come out. The salmon I ate 3 bites. The short rib was no way near good quality for you to charge $38. Not worth over $300 for our meal in general. Not one manager came out to apologize for the delay or the bad meal that ruined our Christmas Eve. Never again.
