Established in 1988 and reinvented for 2016, Aqua Grill offers guests a beautiful, new contemporary restaurant concept located directly on the lake in the renovated Sawgrass Village shopping center. Guests will enjoy award-winning cuisine from an eclectic, multi-ethnic menu featuring the freshest of local ingredients prepared to order. Six of us had dinner outside by the pond. I was not happy with our table which was in a corner against the building. Our server was able to get us a better set up by the pond. All were pleased with our food - salad and crab chowder soup to start out and halibut, cod, sheepshead, fish tacos were selected as the entrees. Service was very good. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent and each course was well timed. There were a couple of large parties on either side of our two person table but even so the volume was not so loud that we couldn’t have a conversation

We mistakenly reserved too few seats and the reception staff was excellent at providing a larger table with no notice - very much appreciated. The waiter at our new table, though, was humorless and not as efficient as we have always found the staff, then had to recompute our three couples' bills three times to get them right. We will always return as we love Aqua Grill but will avoid that waiter next time.

Typically patronized Aqua Grill a few times a year in the past but had not been in a while. My recollection is that the food and value was superior in the past. During this visit, food was OK but nothing special, especially the Crusted Flounder recommended by the server. The service was slow and spotty.

We were there for Sunday Funday on the deck. The band Vox was playing. The drinks, food and music were excellent!
