    Exceptional...cuisine imaginative and sumptuous ... the service attentive and considered... dining room is busy and a little too loud to for quiet conversation, but our meals were superb... the attention to detail by the service staff makes this a must return for us... Bravo!

    This wasn’t just a dinner. It was a food experience. Right from the start - the chef’s taste of a puréed beet and cauliflower mix- every plate was a delightful blend of flavors. A truly gifted chef. I had yellowtail tartare to start and ginger crusted salmon as a main. Both dishes were some of the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the same experience with a lobster and avocado appetizer and a Mediterranean Sea bass with white beans and Kalamata olives. We live in NYC and have been to some great restaurants, but we will make the drive up here to repeat this experience. The service was as great as the food. Attentive, efficient and friendly. Thank you April for your service!

    Outstanding food. I had planned this dinner months in advance and it did not disappoint! The only hang up was on the service & speed, but it did NOT ruin the experience as we had all night to enjoy it. It did take over 15 minutes before we were even given water, but the waitstaff acknowledged the shortcomings and apologized as it continued through the night. We had a newer waitress and having worked in the industry we both had no problem letting it slide and enjoying the night. The food was excellent. It’s a great spot. They have more experienced servers that do an excellent job upholding the level this restaurant deserves (we overheard). We also went at PEAK dinner time 6:45 reservation so I absolutely will give a lot of leeway there! All in all we had a great time, from start to finish the experience was about 2-1/2 hours so plan accordingly! Make it a night! It’s worth going!

    First time dining there and probably my favorite place to eat in Litchfield! I had scallops and my husband got the Halibut. Scallop dish was the best I have ever had!

    Excellent from start to finish. I really can't say enough in praise of this restaurant. The food was exquisite and the service was terrific. When the final bill came, I was actually pleasantly surprised and felt that we'd received great value for our dining dollars. My only critique is that I think they could do more to highlight their non-alcoholic cocktails. I had to ask the server whether they offer any because they did not appear on the menu. I ended up with one that was interesting and satisfying. So I would suggest that the restaurant consider developing and highlighting these options more prominently
