                                                                                                                              First time visiting the restaurant. The ambiance was very pleasant. The drinks were good I got the baklava old fashioned really good drink. Super smooth. For starters we got the saganaki which is the cheese they set aflame table side. Very delicious on its own but when pair with the lemon juice and a bit of the bread they give. Oh man delicious. We also got the octapodi. My wife loved it ! Nice chard on the octopus given it a great crunch but still very soft on the inside. For mains we got the gyro plate and the braised lamb leg. Both were delicious the gyro plate came with everything and the meat was delicious. The braised lamb leg was smothered with a red sauce. The sauce was delicious and the lamb leg was super tender the meat was falling off the bone. Delicious! Our waiter was very helpful and gave me the recommendation for the lamb leg. Spot on recommendation. We enjoyed our time there and can’t wait to come back.

                                                                                                                              Super quick service. Our server Sam was great! Chicken Rigonati was just as delicious as I remember and its THE BEST avgolemono ever.

                                                                                                                              We’ve dined at Athena many times since they opened for business. Our past experiences have generally been very positive. Today was a bit different, and we hope it was an exception. The egg lemon soup lacked good flavor. The gyros were too dry and tepid. Instead of a dish that was supposed to contain meat, a vegetarian version was served (the check listed the meat version, so it was likely a kitchen error). Service was pleasant and professional. We’ll give it another chance because we love the ambiance of the restaurant. The food must be better though to keep our business, as there are other Greek restaurants within walking distance.
