   Just amazing!!!! Two of us got the Fixed Price option and one of us got Fish. All outstandingly delicious. The sommelier was awesome too. She picked a prefect wine at a very reasonable price, it went perfectly with each of our very different entries. Very impressed with her. The service is also Amazing - Very impressed. As soon as my bank account recovers, I’m going back.

   Overall a very good experience. However, two complaints. First, my crab appetizer while tasty was woefully short of crab with only 2 tiny bits — wrong to call it a crab dish. And my dessert, a deconstructed cheesecake-like one was not very attractive and needed more crumbles, seemed like a blob of filling.

   Barolo Grill feels like a great restaurant 20 years ago. Food is good, but portions were huge for four courses, but there were no additions. Service was okay but minimal and not warm. We were handed a 109 page wine list, with no guidance, so we went with the pairings. The wines brought out were delicious. The soufflé was dated, the fritto misto was too large, the risotto and the gnocchi were delicious, the fish and duck were delicious, the desserts weren’t particular Italian or exciting. For $450 (with tip) I expect a lot more thoughtfulness and attention to detail.

   This was our first time dining at Barolo and what a delight! We do not live in Denver and had come into town to see our son who lives there and celebrate Mother’s Day weekend. We started with cocktails that were delicious. Two of us ordered the 4 course menu which was a lot of food and the other two ordered an additional item and there was more than enough to share around. The beef tenderloin was grilled perfectly and the truffle Demi-glacé was so delicious I wish we could have ordered it twice! The grilled Colorado lamb chop was equally fantastic. The other items we had were the Granchio x2 (chilled jumbo lump crab), Insalata Primavera, and Gnocchi de spinaci, All were excellent. The chocolate dessert was just okay, but the cheesecake was very good. The sommelier helped me choose an excellent wine and our fine dining experience was complete. I cannot finish this review without mentioning our outstanding server, Emma. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and so friendly and fun, a true delight. We can’t wait to come back to Barolo again.

   Our annual Birthday Dinner at Barolo Grill was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Missy and the entire Barolo Grill team were lovely, personable, and professional, making sure our dining experience was top-notch. The food and wine pairing were delicious and, the rosemary olive oil dinner rolls ... good heavens. Grazie mille, Peter and Shane

   We were just a party of 2; 2 friends catching up.. and we were hounded by 4 different people trying to get us to leave so that the table could be reseated… it was so annoying and un called for… we won’t be back..
