There are three ways to enjoy the Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar, one of Naples most beloved waterfront restaurants for locals and visitors alike. The Café, on the sidewalk level, has the wonderful, bustling ambience of a big city neighborhood café. The Café menu offers sandwiches, salads and light entrees through the late afternoon and evening. The Grill, accepting reservations, is upstairs and overlooks the Venetian Bay -- one of Naples best waterfront dining views. The Grill specializes in creative and superbly prepared seafood, meats, and pasta dishes. The Grill menu is also served on the Upper Deck Bar and Covered Patio, an award winning outdoor cocktail and dining spot that overlooks Venetian Bay and provides spectacular hues of the setting sun. Between 2-4:30p.m. the Upper Deck Bar offers a lighter, late lunch menu.

    We enjoyed our meals and service (Liam) at Bayside. However, it did them over 20 minutes to seat us even though we had a reservation.

    I find it odd that we confirm at least once we will be there at 645 for a table for 6, and are seated 35 minutes late. It appeared that someone with and early table came at late because they wanted at 645 table and we kept waiting. No text sayinig they were running late, when i questioned the grumpy man at the check in station he become more than a little antagonistic. Had I written this last night it would have been a one. The service was Ok....5 minutes after we were seated we encountered a waiter, drinks a bit later. My food was excellent, but we did not get a table side how is your meal, and had to request a staffer find our server to get another drink on more than one occasion. I'm not sure why the grump was grumpy, hope it passes, my dinner was superb and I hope they get back on track. DD

    We had a “difficult “ dinner at Bayside last night. The weather was unpleasant. It was chilly/cold and windy, with some drizzle. When the weather is like this, all the diners from the outdoor section of Bayside are brought in to the main/indoor section. Maybe a few tables were added indoors to accommodate all the diners. The result is that the restaurant was very noisy. You could only speak to and hear the person immediately next to you. To be sure, the food and service were fine. But you cannot have a pleasant meal if you cannot carry on a conversation with your companions. My advice is to avoid Bayside when the weather is unpleasant.

    It was our first time dining at this restaurant. We were greeted right away and taken to our reserved table. Staff was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Crispy Mahi Mahi, but I almost didn’t because I thought it was breaded. So, I asked the waiter if it was breaded and he said yes, with Macadamia nuts. Oh wow! That made a difference! I said I love when it’s crusted with nuts and ordered it. So glad I did, it was delicious!! My husband ordered the Shrimp and Crab Fettuccine and he said it was delicious as well! The only thing he didn’t like was the New England Clam Chowder because it was more potatoes than Clams and the taste was like eating a potato soup. But our experience was excellent. We will be back.
