   We came here on Valentine’s Day 2025, so they were serving a very select menu - a prix fixe menu, or a limited variation or their regular dinner menu. We ordered the spaghetti & meatballs and chicken parmigiana. Both were good, but the meatballs of the spaghetti & meatballs were surprisingly good, despite reviews on other sites saying they tasted like kitchen tap water. Maybe we came on a good day? We also shared a margherita pizza, which was also good. The dough had the desired yeasty, brick oven flavor and the sauce and cheese were quite tasty as well. Overall, the food was good. The prices were a bit steep, but you’re paying for the atmosphere too. Would definitely come again.

   Too expensive, only two dishes to choose from no variety. Took too long to serve. Even with reservations still waited to be seated.

   Food was ok for the price, but I’ve had much better Italian cuisine in Southern California. Beautiful venue for a lunch or dinner.

   We go there quite often, as there are not many upscale Italian restaurants in Riverside. As usual, it was great! I had the innkeepers pasta, yummy! And my husband had the short rib tortalini which he lived. We also had the focaccia which I think was new to the menu. I love focaccia, and this did not disappoint. They were out of the wine that I wanted, so our waiter ( who was excellent) suggested a Cab that was very good but expensive. They are evidently changing their wine list. Great job!

   Not quite what we expected. The photos are misleading. Our server spent more time with the other staff than watching her tables. We wanted sweetener for our ice tea and had to shout her down to finally get it. Love the Mission Inn and took special friends to see it and enjoy a nice lunch. Mr. Tafts chair wasn't there, a little disappointed. I think we will save our visits to view the Christmas lighting!

   We wanted to thank Preston, our waiter/bartender, for a fantastic evening at Bella Trattoria. It's so refreshing to see such a level of caring and service for customers.    The hostess tried to sit our party at the worse table when all others were free and we had a reservation. It took a while for the service to engage us but once she did she was very nice.

    Jordan server was exuberant but not attentive. Bruschetta Caesar salad pepperoni good. Dined on patio. Odor and noise from construction nearby was unpleasant.
