We are proud to offer 75 kinds of different pasta recipe, fresh and hand-crafted 12 hours a day.
"Bencotto" means cooked well: this is what authentic Italian food is about.
It tastes as it should and would in Italy.
Bencotto offers two different eating environments: guests can either enjoy their meal at our “kitchen-esque” bar downstairs, or they can relax in the intimate low-ceiling dining area upstairs. The décor creates a clean and sophisticated atmosphere, where old-world charm and warmth blend with contemporary appeal.

    Amazing! Service was incredible and everything was delicious. Recommend the Sour cocktail, lasagne, crab ravioli and of course the cheesewheel pasta - which today was with truffles and outstanding!

    What an amazing experience. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a cozy table for two out front. The food was exceptional! Don’t skip the bourbon espresso martinis, it was a highlight.

    The food and service was outstanding. The noise level however was very loud and made it difficult to care on a conversation. In spite of that it is one of our favorite restaurants to come to whenever we are in San Diego.

    Excellent service! Our host and waiter were both amazing! First thing visitors. We had a narrow time frame to make it to our flight back home. All items delivered quickly & were excellent. Loved the burrata w tomato & pesto and the squid ink tagliatelle. Will definitely return!
