   Server Ken was exceptionally awesome. He was attentive, detailed, and joyful. His pleasant demeanor engaged our dinner experience very well. We frequent Burlingame Benihana for many years. Ken, by far, is an exceptionally outstanding server at this location!

   Wait was about 45 mins to hour because they were running behind. Once seated everything went smoothly, my Bloody Mary was good, ordered spicy they put in fresh jalapeno. Had California Rolls, they were fresh and awesome. My son and I ordered the steak and shrimp combo with extra fried rice. Everything was wonderful.

   It’s a big mistake to choose this restaurant. We made a reservations at 7:30pn. Got seated at 8:37 and got meal at 9:07pm. They kept saying that they got behind but they couldn’t let customers know how long would it be the wait time. My family were extremely starving especially my self . I was in very bad condition with my glucose going down and stomach pain with acid reflux. They should have let customers know the estimate waiting time. Otherwise it might cause medical issues for customers. When we got seated we had another waiting time for meals to be served. It was horrible dinner. I hope the management teams observe more often and improve the service. It is a very pricey restaurant but poor service

   Chef was incredible, personal, funny, entertaining and made those of us celebrating birthdays feel special. Waiter was not super attentive and would disappear for long bouts leaving us drink less. Saw him come out of hiding a few times wiping his nose so I’m assuming he was partaking in extracurricular activities. Manager came over and hounded us to leave a 5 star review and stood there until we confirmed we mentioned him by name in our reviews. He was like a used car salesman. Very unnecessary to do that after such a great evening of celebrations. Also, reservations process needs to be revamped because most groups didn’t get sat until an hour after their reservation time. Lots of ppl complained and walked out.

   Great dining experience with beautiful bay views. Our chef was very experienced and friendly and our waitress was very attentive.

   The food was as always quite good. But the chef's show at the table could have been a little better. The last time me and my family dined there the chef really put on quite the show so our expectation was high.

   Server took full advantage of the automatic 18% gratuity due to our party size and didn’t wait on us like he should have! We waited long periods of time before he’d return to ask for refills or other alcohol beverages. Pretty terrible being that we were a party of 10 celebrating my nephew’s 2nd birthday for dinner!
