   Server Paige was rude, Food was nasty, the cook was awesome with what he did. No one in our party of 8 liked the flavor of food. This is my second time going. I was trying to see if it was just a bad day the first time, but no. It was still nasty. I won’t be back. House of Japan down the street is way better and also cheaper.

   We had a reservation for 4 at 7pm. We didn’t get seated until 8pm. They were out of ginger salad dressing, and we didn’t get offered our ice cream at the end. We look forward to this every year on Christmas, but next year, we will find another hibachi grill restaurant.

   This is year 3 going here for Christmas dinner and year one no heat in building but the past 2 years, reservations that seat your over an hour after reservation is ridiculous. We had reservation at 430 and got called at 540. My app said we were ready at 518, but that was not true.

   Here’s a thought…don’t accept more reservations than you can handle. Our reservation was for 4:00. We were finally seated at 5:20. The atmosphere was pretty much chaos. I only wish that I had known this ahead of time. I certainly would not have chosen this restaurant. Save yourself some grief and aggravation and go someplace else.

   Had accepted too many reservations . Needed to limit reservations so ther was no 30 to 45 minute wait

   Waited for 45 minutes past our reservation time just to be told we could not order a family meal in the restaurant, which is what we had budgeted for. Told us we had to order online. Found out our $200 gift card we'd purchased for our meal couldn't be used for online orders. Then, online ordering was turned off before we could enter alternative payment. This was supposed to be our Christmas dinner.

   We have a reservation in which they were running behind, didn’t get seated until and hour after. After being seated for almost another hour a server came over and asked if had been helped. The chef was entertaining but the other service was terrible.

   We were there on Christmas Eve so… super busy, incredibly hard working staff. Even though we had reservations, we were seated approximately 45 minutes after reservation time, and took probably 10-15 minutes before being waited on at table. Food was as expected but pricey.

   It was Christmas Eve so super busy, naturally. They were about 20-30 minutes behind on reservations and seemed a bit understaffed- long wait for drinks, chef, etc. All of that is understandable and the chef was great and food tasty. My low rating was ambiance. 9 people were shoved at a small table likely only meant for 7 people, in a cramped corner: we were a party of 3, there was a couple, and a party of 4 very tightly squeezed with barely room for our plates. It was awkward being in such tight quarters with strangers. I also feel the value didn’t match those of competitors. Portions were much smaller and price higher. We didn’t have any leftovers which is rare for hibachi. Overall, grateful for the friendly staff working hard on Christmas Eve but we will dine at HOJ or Tanuki in the future.

    Probably not the spot to be at on Christmas Eve. Loud and very very busy! Kinda stressful. Good food and fun chefs
