   Benihana used to be high-end, high-service experience. Now, if it takes less than 2 hours is a miracle. Lack of staff or lack of will, couldn’t tell. Not planning on going anymore unless it’s a big group and the table is just for us. Food as itself was delicious, but it’s not worth the wait, the distressed furniture, tc.

   I can’t fully express how disappointing our experience was last night. Our reservation was at 8:15 and we weren’t sat until a little after 9pm. Then our chef (who only spoke to one half the table and fully ignored us) didn’t come out until much later. We didn’t eat until 10:20 pm.ore than two hours after we sat. My 5 year old was cranky and hungry and honestly so was I. The manager came by and again only spoke to one half of the table and fully ignored us. And to add insult to injury, the wine I ordered came out as no more than 3-4oz and the steak and salmon were both overcooked since the chef was chatting away with his friends and didn’t realize he had cooked them both too long. It was all around awful. I knew Benihana was a chain but this was a terrible experience. I will not only never return but will make sure others are aware.

   The wait time took a little longer than expected however, the service was great, and the food was delicious as well

   Very disappointed in our experience. With a reservation, we waited almost an hour to be seated and more than 15 minutes for a server to come to the table. We ended up leaving the restaurant.

   We went on New Year’s Day for lunch and were greeted by an amazing young man, the host, our server Kevin was very attentive and Chef Erik was entertaining and a great cook!!! Overall, INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!! It was a holiday and these gentlemen were working, but STILL, professional and friendly and made us feel welcome!!! Thank you 🙏

   Once seated, our server and chef were very nice. Unfortunately the restaurant was running one hour late for all reservations. Once seated at our teppanyaki table there was another 45 minute wait for our chef to start cooking. Overall the food was very good and all staff were very apologetic for the wait times. By the time dinner was over it was over 3 hours from our original reservation time.

   Only when you ask for a medium rare steak, you get it cooked you’re done it. I guess they really don’t know how to cook many rare steak.

    Fun experience especially for kids because they keep them entertained with the cooking. Portions were not as big as I remember as a child and the chicken fried rice was an extra 6.00 each. You go more for the experience than the quality of the food because it is expensive in the end and because I didn’t eat the rice I left feeling satisfied but not super full. I also had to remind the chef for my mom’s steam rice after they made the meat and the mushrooms for my chicken meal. Again, you go for the fun and experiencing my opinion.
