   The hibachi grill cook did not communicate with those of us sitting at the table other than to confirm our food order. We’re used to at least a little entertainment and interaction while watching the cook prepare the food. We got nothing. We were there to celebrate my birthday. There was no recognition of my birthday at all. The waitress was nice and food was good, but the overall experience was very underwhelming.

   Went for my birthday meal and we told them when the hostess/server asked if anyone was celebrating anything. She had no smile and no personality. No one wished us happy birthday or sang as they used to do. Food was good but expensive. Chef was average in his show but have seen better at other hibachi places. Table's exhaust fan next to us either wasn't on or not functioning properly, so lots of smoke was in everyone's eyes. Probably won't be back as there are better options.

   Service was a little slow but it was ok. And we were celebrating a 13th birthday so I think I expected the chef to be a little more entertaining during his preparing of the food and I didn't realize they didn't do anything else like the drums for birthdays anymore. But overall it was still a fun experience for us.

   The front desk was chaotic when we checked in. We were seated 12 mins after our reservation time. Employees were welcoming but seemed to be very distracted.

   Due to tremendous amount of snow falling there were dry few customers while we were there. Er still enjoyed the full “show” during our food preparation. Enjoyable and very good food and service.

   Prices raised too much!!! Booked birthday, party for daughter (for 30+ yrs it's been a family tradition to have a family meal at Benihanas). When meal was over I asked about the birthday hoopla that it's famous for ( ice cream , song and dance and family photo). Waitress responded , "We don't do that when we are busy". My grown daughter was extremely upset with the response as was the entire table. Waitress was less than mediocre. Very disappointing! Food and chef were good.

   Great food n order of items, shrimp was excellent along with salad, chicken was tough; chicken fried rice was outstanding. Had to ask for water and green tea n cook had issues getting tails into hat
