   We ordered drinks when we sat down, recieved glasses of wine after 40 minutes and an old fashion after one hour. Chef came 20-30 minutes after we finished our appetizers. We were at the restaurant almost 2.5 hours. We were sat at our reservation time but service was so slow. Chicken was dry. This was a birthday dinner that we reserved almost 3 weeks ahead of time. It was not the evening we had planned.

   The food quality has dropped - my steak had gristle throughout and they don’t even devein the shrimp! Portions are way smaller than they used to be. Service was meh - our server was super sweet but we had to sit with empty drinks a lot longer than we should have. I had the lunch duet steak and shrimp with an iced tea and my husband had the lunch steak with 2 Dos Equis beers, so our total with a 23% tip was $100. Lunch here for 2 is not worth $100 in my opinion.

   We were a party of 18 but dwindled down to 15 due to late flight connections. The management team were very accommodating. The experience was 10/10. Enjoyed the environment and clean restaurant. I myself Flew in from California to celebrate my mother’s Birthday. The staff were friendly and overall great. Thank you Team for making this a wonderful experience!!!

   Benihana's is always a blast! The show your chef puts on is fabulous. You have to see it to believe it. Then there is the food. Mostly its cooked to perfection, however this time the steak was overcooked. My wife ordered medium rare and I ordered medium. Hers was more medium and mine was medium well but the taste was sensational. Its a little pricy but well worth the cost.

   We had reservations but they were behind. We got seated 50 min later than our scheduled time. The hostesses were kind and happy. There was way too much pressure on the Chef. He had to rush and we received basic service. There was not time for the fun part. No smiles, no interaction. I truly felt sorry for all of the staff. And I felt sorry for us too. It’s pricy but normally would be worth it. Not Easter Saturday.

   Food and chef were amazing as usual. The service was sub par. The server never refilled our drinks and once she took out order she never returned to our part of the table. Disappointing.

    I used to love this place, especially on birthdays. But the food has gone down in quality, up in price, and down in overall taste and experience. I will not be returning!!
