   This was our first time ever at Benihana and we were very excited for the experience and food. Let me just say, save your money please. Any other Hibachi restaurant would be a smarter choice. The amount of food/portion size you receive is not worth it. My 5 pieces of steak I got on my plate for 40$ not including the fried rice which I assumed came with the hibachi was ridiculous. My 8 year old niece, finished her chicken and some of my food and was still hungry. We waited about 1 hour 1/2 before a chef actually came and started cooking. The chef was awesome, he was funny and kind and made the experience not a total loss. I will say the staff there was nice. The environment and ambiance was less than ideal. I hope others have better experiences but we will choose a different eatery next time. It was not worth 200$ for 2 adults and 1 kid to eat subpar food with portions so small.

   Everything was great until we finished dinner. We barely made it home. Then we spent the remainder of the evening in the washroom. This is the 2nd time out of 3 visits this happened. The 1st time, it was only me, so we went back. The 2nd time, everything was great. Needless to say, this was the last time. We will not be returning. Very sad because we have been going there for years and always loved it. The items that we ate that were the same, soup salad, shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, dipping sauces and green tea.

   Super kind and attentive staff with our very overtired and hungry 1.5 year old. Without hesitation, Luci and the team went above and beyond to offer accommodations to help. As a parent in a dining establishment, my husband and I can’t put into words how meaningful and thoughtful the service we received was. In addition, the food was delicious, everything came out fast and of course, the hibachi experience was top notch. Highly recommend. We will absolutely be returning!!

   The food was definitely not worth the price. What you’re paying for is the food cooking performance which mine was subpar and lacked enthusiasm. Would not recommend

   The restaurant was old and felt run down. It was very noisy. My server rushed me and my guests with ordering. She did not explain the menu or our choices clearly. Was very expensive for the quality of food received. Food was not flavorful. Not what I remembered or expected. I will not be back. Very disappointed.

    I had the hibachi steak and chicken fried rice, and it was delicious. The soup was hot and I love the dressing on the salad. The chef always makes it fun.
