   2nd time this month eating at Benihana’s and it was not good. I’ve been coming to this location for 24 years REGULARLY! A lot of the staff there know us from dining here so often. Not just for special occasions or random events…this was one of me and my husbands go to restaurants. I’ve been here too many times to not know how things should go. I’ve had many encounters with chef Sam and all horrible. He only remembered he forgot the chicken because he heard me ask my husband…where is the chicken? Last night he cooked the rice and vegetables before the chicken for chicken fried rice. That has never happened and I was scared to eat it because it had not cooked long enough. My hibachi chicken entree was tough and all the food was salty. I had a headache when I got home. The waitress was missing in action most of the time. Soup came out as expected but the salad didn’t come until we were eating our sautéed vegetables. The hibachi supreme has increased to $61 but the quality of the chateaubriand has changed and gone downhill. WE ARE DONE!

   I’ve been coming here since December of 1989 to this location. I recommend to family and friends, the food is great. The staff is excellent. Several visits a year for birthdays and dates

   It was definitely busy late at night. The e environment was so loud I couldn’t hear the person two seats away from me. I’ve been three time and this time there wasn’t much theatrics involved in the cooking. We had taken family here to experience the art of the cooking and it let us down to not see anything other than the volcano onion.

   Been coming here for years because we always have a great time, and we really like the food and the ambiance. Unfortunately, we feel we are getting a little less food for the money, I guess like every place these days. This will not keep us from coming as it’s one of our favorite places to go with the whole family!

   I love going to Benihanas but yesterday missed the mark by a lot. The rice was hard, the chef forgot to add the spicy sauce. The waiter never came to pick up our plates so we had a stack on our table. The chef must’ve been new because everyone’s portions were off. Just a bad experience overall.

   Service was very slow. We had to wait 45 minutes past our reservation time to get seated. After drink orders were taken it was slow to order our food as well. We did promptly get our soup and salad, but then the waitress disappeared for a long time and never checked on us for drink refills. We waited about 45 minutes before a chef came to our table as well. Food was good and chef was entertaining. We also didn’t like that the fried rice was $7 more than just white rice and that was not listed in the menu or told by the waitress before we ordered it.

    We go every year and this year service was horrible! Our server could not keep up with the tables he was serving. It took 40 minutes for water and then a drink order. We got there at 6 and were not eating soup/salad until 7:35.
