   This restaurant adds a 20% service charge to the bill that is NOT the tip. You are expected to tip the staff on top of that. This is now illegal in MN but they are doing it anyway and they don’t make it at all clear so my poor Mom who paid, didn’t realize this and generously tipped on top of this outrageous service charge. And our service wasn’t even very good. 7 of us and the bill was over $700?! We each had one drink. I will never eat here again.

   The Buffalo all experience what's good. However, we had 7 people at the table. I came with a twenty percent tip but then another woman who was giving us drink said we had to keep her another fifteen percent because the twenty percent didn't include her, so we spent over seven hundred dollars, that's a hundred dollars a person, and we just ordered soda accept for two people who ordered one drink. This is way too expensive. As I was thinking about sixty dollars a person, I will never go back because it's vary list meeting when you have to pay a twenty percent tip and then a fifteen fifteen percent tip on top of that, I will never go back

   Our chef Hector was very enthusiastic and entertaining. He engaged with everyone while cooking and the jokes with the food were hilarious. Our server Shari was amazing with keeping drinks filled and taking away empty dishes. She also sang happy birthday to me alone. Her singing was amazing! We will definitely come back.

   We had a 6 pm reservation at the Maple Grove location and did not get seated until 6:30 pm and there were many other groups in the same position. They need to get a handle on scheduling.

   Had a great time at Benihana's. This was some of the top service and teppanyaki cooking we've had in a while. Our cook, Antonio was friendly and made for a fun experience with my family.

   We will NOT be returning. It took 45 minutes to get our water. Had to ask another waitress we would like some water. It was super loud, the other family at our table left it was taking so long. The floor was terribly slippery from the grease. We were there 3 1/2 hours waiting for the server not because we were enjoying our meal.

   The food was good and plenty of it. Plan on spending a minimum of 1.5-2 hours, with times where no one is there to help or replenish drinks.

    Group of 8 had a great time! Unfortunately Benihana like many other food chains have slimmed down portion size.
