   Even with a reservation we waiting about 45 mins to be seated and then another 30 for our order to be taken.

   Once we were seated it was exactly as expected. The chef was a great showman, but I have seen a bit better in terms of engaging with the table. Our server was top notch and was helpful and attentive. The only gripe I have is that we had a 7pm reservation and were not seated until 7:30. This is not acceptable.

   We eat there several times a year and the servers have not been the best lately. Tonight our sever was Nancy who was amazing- on top of it we never had wait for anything she was there. In the past it seemed like once you had your food the disappeared.

   We got the our reserved table 45 minutes late and another 35 minutes until the chef came the restaurant felt very dirty, extremely loud…. Very sad.

   Ordered filet and chicken, Steak was overcooked, chicken was overcooked and dried out, the fried rice was very very bland, the entire dish over all was just poorly cooked. And for a $60 meal, to be that bad, very disappointing.

   Food is always phenomenal. It’s super pricey and the “show” varies from mediocre to great, but the food is consistently good.

    We’re regulars at Benihana and tonight was just awful. They were running 45 minutes behind on reservation times, were extremely short staffed, and everything took forever. Bummer for my daughter’s birthday dinner. My A5 steak was pure fat (and I’ve eaten a lot of A5). Just a bad experience overall
