   Our chef Yoshi was AMAZING and very personable. Also our waitress was always available for drink orders and anything else we needed. My family had a very memorable celebration for our father's birthday. Thank you so much!

   We took our 7, 5 and 1-year old grandchildren and they loved the food and the cooking. My 5-year old thought the fire before the volcano was a little scary but she liked everything else. My 7-year old particularly liked the noodles and the rice.

   I think this place was probably understaffed , which led to a 30+ minute delay in getting seated and then another 30+ minutes before our chef arrived. Staff seemed stressed throughout the evening and there was an error with my dinner order, but it was rectified. Having said all that, food was amazing and our chef was awesome. Would love to go back on a night when they are better staffed.

   We have been to this Benihana many times, but on this occasion we did not have a great experience. We had a table for 10 for a 6:30pm reservation; our party was mostly punctual and we were seated around 7pm, but our chef did not arrive for perhaps 45 minutes. Our orders were eventually taken but were not made correctly: people received the wrong food, everyone received soup but no salad, and no plain rice was served (although fried rice was served). Around 9pm our server apologized to our entire table and offered us ice cream, which was a nice gesture, but I would have preferred to have a few meals comped since half of the meal components weren't served. He was kind enough to take our photograph at the end and print it for us. I got the impression he was very overworked, and the restaurant was likely understaffed that day. We have made coming here for a post-Christmas holiday gathering a tradition, but will try to reserve for an earlier time next year.

   Don’t bother making reservations, the front reception just puts your name in line when you get there. We had reservations at 6 for 4 people and we didn’t get seated until 7pm We made the reservation a month before I know they get busy but they should close the reservation spot when it’s full, instead of overbooking everyone.

   It was Christmas so can understand- but we did wait 2 hours to be seated and we had a reservation. We got there an hour before our reservation and was told they could seat us early- and then told (1.5 hours later) they gave our table to someone who got there earlier but the math doesn’t make sense.

   Good was good. Service was great. Had a 5:00 pm reservation but got seated at 5:30 pm. Also saw many people waiting 30-45 minutes even with reservations. Felt rushed even when we were still eating at the end but understood as they were busy. Also heard people talking about them being double booked and it happened to numerous people. They seem to be money hungry and get as many reservations as possible even if it includes waiting an hour even with a reservation. Overall 6/10.

   For the price you pay you should get more food.. Me and my family paid over 300 and they was hungry an hour later.. food has no taste no seasoning no sauce nothing. I’ll stay at new star in elmwood pk they worth every penny.
