   The experience of sitting at a community tempanyaki and sharing with others is a great experience. The food, drinks and service was phenomenal. Great place to bring the kids, great place to bring your first date, great place period.

   Food was good, but we ordered 6 course meal for me and five course for my husband. It was my birthday so I got $30 off. I’m sure if you had a more experienced cook it would’ve been better experience. We had a young guy didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing. And also when you order with first guy, you can’t understand what they’re saying. They talk fast and it’s loud. Chef asked everyone if they want chicken or shrimp in everyone’s rice. Everyone said yes. When you got bill we all shared a chicken breast cut up in rice for and extra $7 each person. I would’ve got steamed rice saved $14. And then as far as dinner nothing was done together. We got soup, salad which is good. But then he gave us only rice, then serving of onions alone when rice was eaten. Then came I think shrimp bits. Than when that was eaten. Chicken came. Then steak was on plate alone. Then at end he put eggplant or zucchini pieces. It would’ve been nice to get most of rice, meat n vegs together. It was a slow process. Tricks didn’t work that great. I’m sure we ate egg shells from the two or three broken eggs. My dinner was $52 jumbo shrimp, not shrimp bits like I got and chicken n filet mignon. People got food like small shrimp they didn’t even order. The guys got extra rice on their plate and in bowl. I think we’ll not go back. And bill was like $110-$120. Not the experience I expected there

   Our whole experience was tainted by the host refusing to seat us even though we arrived within the 15 minute grace period. To top it off we called ahead to let them know that our Uber was running late. Still, the host made us wait another thirty minutes before seating us. We were getting ready to leave when the host said, we can seat you now. He was a total jerk.

   Our waiter was terrible. I asked for a lemon for my second glass of water. Never received it. When the meal was done, he never asked me if I wanted a to go box. Never refilled my glass with water. I had to ask for the manager for a to go box and a glass of water to go. I feel that he did not like us because we are gay. The cook did not show his skills like the other chiefs. Was very disappointed in the chief. Food was great. This is why I chose Benihana for the cooking show. It was our second anniversary, and I wanted to have a good time. The food was great, service was terrible.

    Never had an experience like this in all my years. Way too much to include here. I felt like a hidden camera show and we were the brunt of the skit. Sat 30 min past rez time. Rez time was 7:15, we left their at 10. Almost 3 hours of mainly sitting at the table waiting for the chef. Food was overcooked. Table next to us was vaping weed. So much more I don’t have time to include. Capped off with still having to pay 50% for un edible food for our party of three and the other two couples at the table. Never again!!!!!!!!
