   Food and service was not at the level we expected for the price point. Both of our main dishes were very blan with no flavor depth.

   My wife and I had a lovely lunch in the bar area today. Simple, perfect, fresh food. Our waiter was lovely and so helpful. This is a great neighborhood restaurant.

   Bobby does it again. Such a delightful experience every time. We had a corner table in the fireplace room where we could sit side by side. So romantic. Our server was just incredible and made every dish sound so delicious. We started with the French onion soup and it was by far the best we've ever had. We also shared the Bibb lettuce salad and it was light and fresh. My date had the black cod and I think he would have licked the dish had there been any thing left. I had the duck leg and mushroom risotto. Oh my god. Just the perfect combination of flavors. We ended our meal with a slice of chocolate pecan pie. Yummy. I may have to go back for the pork chop next.

   Overall not impressed. Our first visit to Bis. Small but quaint restaurant. It's a shame that the "view" is a carpet store with large clearance signs in the window. That aside, it's lovely. I ordered the seafood linguine and did not like it. Very overcooked seafood (I've never had to chew a shrimp so hard in my life!). Unfortunately, once the food was brought we never saw our server until the end of the meal he brought the dessert menu. So I was was unable to tell him of my dilemma and was unable to ask for a different dish. I ended up using my bread plate to have some of my husband's meal just so I had something to eat. The meal was taken off our final check, but it would have been nice to at least had the opportunity to try something else. We had just been to El Gaucho (Seattle location) the week before, and the difference between these two restaurants is so stark. Service at EC is impeccable. At Bis, it's minimal. They are similar in prices. I would go back to EC anytime, but Bis not so much, if ever, sadly.

   We had a very enjoyable time celebrating our anniversary at Bis on Main. Service was excellent; food was fantastic. We will be back.

   Steak tar tar was not good at all but they did remove it from our bill. Duck was a little over cooked. All in all it was a disappointment, especially considering the price.

   Very poor service. We were halfway through our first course when the wine finally arrived. One of us had steak frites and while the fries were fabulous the meat was overcooked ( never had a chance to ask that it be served rare or any other way,) and coated with charcoal. Crab cakes were meh, and since they came with a salad. It would have been nice to know that in advance, then I wouldn’t have ordered a salad to start the meal. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

   Fun evening! Great drinks and a wonderfully friendly and engaging bartender! The food was perfect. Ahi tuna was fresh and very flavorful. The black cod was cooked to perfection (my wife's favorite), and my filet was a perfect mediumrare. The server, along with the entire staff, was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Highly recommend!
