A small, intimate restaurant perfectly situated on the oldest lane in Norwich, Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar is everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant and more. Our welcoming, relaxed atmosphere will ensure you and your guests have an experience to treasure. Our food is locally sourced, wherever possible, to give you a taste of the real Norfolk. Our Chefs passionately prepare each of our dishes to really make Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar a unique restaurant, any special requests are happily accommodated.     Bishops has to be one of the best if not THE best restaurant in Norwich. The cooking is flawless, the ingredients, locally sourced and beautiful. The combination of flavours wonderfully thought through and delicious. There are few restaurants who produce each course with such care and talent, absolutely loved it!

    Absolutely delicious food, exceptional service in a intimate atmosphere. If you love fine dining, good wine and want to actually feel satiated at the end of your meal, this place is for you. A real gem for sure.

    Delicious bistro style food, served in an intimate atmosphere with perfect service. Bishops is our favourite place for date night and special occasions as we always have a wonderful time.

    Utterly superb. As always. My first choice every single time - for over twenty years now. That should speak volumes. Service is brilliant, food is beyond amazing, and this place will remain my ‘go to’ restaurant for ever, whenever I fancy a special night out. Wonderful place to have a lunchtime snifter too / excellent wine list, excellent staff, and hilarious clientele. Get yourselves there - you’ll be glad you did.
