We ordered the salmon, sea bass and tacos. I'd say the sea bass was outstanding! The salmon always perfectly prepared with the peso sauce and fish tacos a fun way to eat fish. We were all very satisfied with our meals.

Nice wine selection. Cozy booth seating. Tomato soup & grilled cheese were perfect. Hubby loved the lamb lollipops and steamed clams. Tara, our server, was the icing on the cake! You can tell she takes pride in her work. Thanks for a great night out.

The food at Bistro 7 is delicious. The wait staff is very attentive. This was not our first time there and it certainly will not be our last.

We arrived early to have a drink before our appointed dinner time. Half our party arrived before us and got their drinks. We then got our drink order in promptly. However, we waited about 20 minutes for our drinks. Then we couldn't transfer the tab to the restaurant because we were told that they didn't have a computer system that could do that. After we were seated for dinner and ordered appetizers and wine, one of the wine orders didn't come. Subsequently, we had several waiters bring multiple orders of wine. One appetizer, the Brie Potstickers, were extremely dry. However, the Spinach and Artichoke Dip with bread was good. Three of us ordered the Miso Crusted Chilean Sea Bass with a sweet soy glaze for dinner, which was overly sweet with the fish being overcooked. We thought the staff didn't communicate with each other as indicated that they kept bringing wine to our table that we didn't order. It all seemed a little laissez-faire and too familiar. For example, our server came to our table and told us that she couldn't bring our bill to us because she was going to open a bottle of champagne that she had in her hand for another table. It's not clear why she even told us that. We went to dinner at this place well over ten years ago and didn't return. We couldn't remember why we didn't return. So, we thought we'd give it a try with one of our party who was from out of town. Sadly, all of us were disappointed, It seems that now we know why we didn't return especially considering the high cost.

We went for my husband’s birthday. We had very tasty dirty martinis (Italian martini on the menu) that had olives stuffed with blue cheese and pepperoni. We had the clams for an appetizer which was outstanding, and we both had the specials…halibut and pork tenderloin, and both were amazing.

Birthday dinner with my wife. We split the BLT romaine salad. She had the sea bass, and I had the halibut special. My wife was feted with a brownie with ice cream for her birthday. The food was outstanding - expertly prepared and delicious. The service was good, not great. But overall an excellent experience. Looking forward to a return meal.

Another outstanding special - duck breast, with pilaf and asparagus. The duck lightly sauced and very tender. Our companions split a beet salad and the vegetarian pasta - always good choices for those who opt out of a meat dish.. Our server Sarah, knows our drink orders and efficiently orchestrates drinks, appetizers and entrees; along with share plates. Eating "bistro" style has become our favorite.
