   Mom and dot dinner. Nice drink menu and drinks were very tasty. We split a Caesar side salad which was more than two servings and lettuce was fresh but it could have used more dressing. I asked for mashed potatoes w steak instead of the roasted potatoes but entree still came w roasted potatoes. I asked again for the mashed potatoes which were delicious and delivered promptly but they were added to our bill. Choc torte for dessert which was very rich and very firm. Didn’t love it.

   Bread was day old stale bread. Very hard and didn't melt the butter. Chicken and steak didn't seemed to be seasoned enough to taste. And broccoli wasn't cooked all the way and couldn't even cut it with my fork. $83 is outrageous for the food was served.

   We went for New Years Eve. I didn’t realize it would be a fixed menu for $150 per person. Although good, it wasn’t great and not worth the $150. But it was nice and quiet and the ambiance was nice.

   Absolutely amazing! The staff was wonderful and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was great and it was bustling without being loud. We normally go to Duck City but this place is going to be our new favorite!

    We arrived 20 minutes early and were seated seated immediately, but then didn’t get waters until 20 minutes later, and then our drinks about 25 minutes after that. We only ordered 2 glasses of wine, a beer, and a lemonade. By an hour and 20 minutes after we arrived our 2 salads, pork chop and steak had not arrived, so we had to leave to catch a show next door. Ate popcorn for dinner instead. LOVE Hotel Blackhawk, but the management of the entire building is terrible. :(
