   They only had a limited menu for Thanksgiving and didn't think it would be a good idea to mention this on the website or on open table did not even think to advertise this completely ridiculous I've been coming here for years this is two bad experiences back to back I don't think I'll be returning and I would never recommend it to anybody going forward

   We have a wonderful waitress and the food was delicious. We didn’t have to wait too long.

   Don’t know if the service was wack because it was Thanksgiving but I’m not going back there again. I returned my plate because meat was cold and dry, not how a medium rare filet mignon should be. Only if on my son’s enjoyed his meal. Portions were so small. A kids meal had more fries than our plates. The wait time for drinks and food order were too long. Bathrooms need to be updated.

   Was surprised at how crowded Black Angus was upon arrival. Many people waiting outside and inside. Checked in and was surprised that the wait was not too long. Service was good- staff attentive. Food did not take as long as I had expected and it was delicious and hot. Only minor complaint was that the steak was medium instead of medium rare. Cheesy bread was delicious. Salad fresh and crisp... although I always wondered why they only give you two cherry tomatoes. Would like at least 4 or 5. Overall, outstanding! Thank you, Black Angus!

   Not Frances, but anyway had a great experience at Black Angus as I always do since I’ve been going there 50 years. For as busy as it was Thanksgiving day, they were well staffed, and had great service… Thank you

   We decided to not cook Thanksgiving this year and go to a restaurant, there are just 5 of us. I received an email from Black Angus telling about their Thanksgiving Turkey day dinner. We've been going to Black Angus for over 30 years, so we knew it was a good place. I made reservations a few weeks ago. They checked with me the day before to make sure we were still coming. We arrived 5 min early. The place was PACKED but we were seated within 10 mins. The greeter was good, and the server was great. 3 of us had the turkey dinner and 2 ate beef. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, and I took leftovers of my dinner and my piece of pie and enjoyed them later. It was a wonderful and relaxing family get together. I would recommend it highly!!

   It was a holiday and lots of people, but they got us to our table at the time of our reservation. The wait staff was friendly (and very busy!) and handled our order in a timely manner. The food was excellent. One in our party had the turkey dinner, but the rest of us leaned into their specialties. We had prime rib and steak, and it wasn’t hard to polish off. We had dessert and coffee and the bill was very reasonable for what we received.

   I have never had a bad meal at Black Angus Citrus Heights. It was Thanksgiving Day and they were packed! I never saw a table empty. Portions were generous. A win-win for me and my dad. No cooking, no cleaning and I brought home 1/2 of my meal for tomorrow.
