   We arrived early for our reservation and were told we should wait until it was closer to our reservation time ... even though there were empty tables. This was annoying and made me think that the hostesses had the wrong priorities. Our server was very friendly and attentive with good suggestions. Instead of steaks, we tried a few of the other things on the menu and were pleased.

   Our annual pre-Christmas friend’s dinner. I preferred the smoke glass dividers from before. The ambiance is more like Denny’s now. The food was good and the service attentive.

   Our steaks were cooked just as we ordered them. The waiter Brian was attentive to our needs, filling cups as needed. Suggested items for us to try and we did. All was very flavorful. Good service and food.

   The Porterhouse steak was amazing. It came with delicious garlic butter on top. It was so big I had to take half of it home.

   The service was very good but the food not so good The steaks were not cooked as ordered. The steak soup had no steak in it and the potato skins had no bacon and the one ordered with chives had none either so it was just cheese

   Service is usually good at this location but not this time. Our server forgot us several times. She also didn’t take my reward number when I asked her to. When we finally got the bill I just wanted to leave.

   A restaurant named for a good quality beef should at least have Choice cuts of meat. We ordered “prime” rib which doesn’t have to be “prime” but I was not expecting Select. Mac n cheese was cold. Waiter was very nice and helpful. Food service was slow. Decor was awful. What was a warm, intimate atmosphere is now walls painted white and highly lit. Will not be going back.

    Our server was excellent. Usually all is perfect food prep wise here but my steak was quite b underdone as was the broccoli. I actually sen both back for further cooking. Perfect when returned. Very busy on a Sunday night so rather loud but not annoyingly. The light factor n is really quite high. That downgrades any possible ambiance. Even just a little dimmer would be a gift. Regardless, the quality and value are there and our waiter was very caring. Makes up for a lot.
