The owners are committed to use fresh ingredients and support their Local Farmers whenever possible. Look for exciting Wine Dinners pared with wines from regions from all over the world. Blades' Bistro is a classy blend of classic, whimsical; it is an oasis of sophistication thriving in Placitas. Everything about Blades' Bistro is nicer than you expect, in the best possible way.               Sea bass was cooked perfectly. Everything else we had was delicious. Service was spot on. Friendly vibe/atmosphere. Hadn't been here in a year or so. Very glad to be reacquainted! We will definitely be back!!

              Blade's Bistro is a very nice restaurant, probably a best-kept secret. The menu has options for everyone, and the pricing is very reasonable. The most expensive entrée is just under $30. The staff is very friendly and relatable. The food is excellent and there are items on the menu that you can't just get anywhere. It's a really nice treat for a date night and worth the drive from Albuquerque to Placitas. We'll definately be going back on a regular basis.

              The sea bass was perfectly prepared and amazing. The Vouvray wine pairing was a great choice. It was a lovely evening and just what we needed. We love this Placitas gem and enjoy going there every chance we can.

              My family and I have been enjoying Blades for many years. This restaurant serves cook to order food that you can actually see being prepared by professional chefs. I find their menu to be versatile with options for many. The service is very good. One of the things I really appreciate about the servers is that they will give you an honest answer to questions. This is an owner-operated restaurant where detailed hospitality is given to make guests feel at home. Reservations are suggested.

              The lamb shank was excellent! Extra effort to make up for a disappointing experience on our last visit. Lots of attention, apologies and appreciation that we came back. We were there on their opening night and will continue to return as often as we can.

              My husband and I were passing through Placitas and ended up for dinner at Blades Bistro. The restaurant had fantastic reviews but completely exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was serene and beautiful, but not pretentious. The food was just incredible. We had the French onion soup and baked Brie to start and both were perfection. Followed by a truly exceptional main with lamb for my husband and scallops and shrimp for me. The service was fantastic and we met the owner who was just lovely. We’ll never pass through Placitas without stopping here again. An absolute gem!
