We celebrated our 10-Year anniversary here and it was a truly exceptional evening! The ambience was perfect and our server was wonderful! The food was incredible! The Porter & Smoked Gouda Cheese fondue should be its own meal! Simply divine! And their in-house Creme Brûlée is some of the best I’ve had anywhere! It was a perfect place to celebrate and enjoy a romantic dinner out!

You should definitely stop here!! The food was amazing! Seriously good! The French Onion Soup was outstanding... The Braised Pork Shank made me regret the Filet I ordered. Both were truly tasty and I would recommend them.

The Blue Boar restaurant is fabulous. The rooms are excellent with a Swiss/German theme. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. It was quiet and reserved but not at all stuffy. Such a wonderful experience.

What an amazing experience. A quaint establishment with delicious food and service that was wonderful. The staff was kind and engaging. We enjoyed the French Onion Soup, Fondue, Pork Shank, Salmon and Fliet Mignon. We ended with a crème brûlée. Highly recommend!

Arugula beet salad was fantastic! Halibut was dry. Salmon was very nice. Ambience is fantastic with views of beautiful State Park scenery. Dining room is very nice and quiet. Beautifully appointed. Be sure to check out the little bar in the back and the bathrooms. Love Blue Boar. It is a gem.

Celebrated my birthday at the Blue Boar and it was perfect! The restaurant was very nice, reminded me of a European inn. Very quaint! I started with French onion soup which may have been the best I’ve ever had. Delicious, I highly recommend it! If the chef is willing to share, I’d love the recipe! For the main course I enjoyed the Filet Mingnon which came with mashed potatoes & carrots. The filet was cooked perfectly, very tender & flavorful. The sauce on the filet was very good! The sides were also excellent! My dining partner had the Pork Shank that was also excellent. Very tender & flavorful! Flourless Chocolate Torte was my choice for dessert. It was good, but not as excellent as the rest of my meal. It was served with ice cream & salted caramel sauce. I would have liked a little more of the caramel sauce to offset the slight dryness of the torte. Next time, I will try the white chocolate & raspberry cheesecake. It looked delicious at the table near ours. My dining partner enjoyed the Carrot Cake. The restaurant was very busy as it was a Saturday night when I visited. A lot of tables were seated at the same time so our service was a little slow to get started. Once we ordered the slower pace was nice for a fine dining experience. The manager of the restaurant came by several times to ensure we had what we needed since our server also had a large party, too. Other than the slow start, the service was good. I highly recommend the Blue Boar and will dine here again when I’m in the area!

We came for a nice dinner to celebrate my sisters bachelorette!! We picked the location because the photos and the food was giving ski wench vibes which was awesome!! We all had great meals, great wine, and had a lot of fun!! We will definitely be back, and hopefully can stay at the inn, we were dying to explore the space more!! But food, service and ambiance were great, all of us would highly recommend!!
