I have been coming for years. Always enjoying the food and chatting with Rory the owner. I love the raisin bread. So crisp & yummy. The restaurant is closing on April 19 after 19 years. They will be very sadly missed. 😢

The food is incredible. We were a party of 4. We tried 3 appetizers, delicious; 4 different entrees, each and everyone incredible; and a scrumptious dessert. An amazing dining treat.

an outstanding mahi mahi recipe. The last two visits included specials just as soups ( the BLT soup this visit and the crab bisque from the previous week) was a nice change from the wild mushroom soup; although I thought that too, was a winner.

Our second time here for a belated Valentine’s Day dinner. ❤️ Again they amazed us! The menu changes depending on what is fresh so you never know what you are going to get! I had the gnocchi appetizer which was done in a French onion soup-type broth. These are the lightest gnocchi I have ever had! My husband had the Blue Bottle salad. Both apps were so large that we could have just had those! Dinner was roast pork with pretzel spaetzel, butternut squash gratin, and broccolini, and my husband had the mustard glazed chicken with vegetables. Dessert was profiteroles with salted caramel ice cream and caramel and chocolate drizzle. The service was excellent and the setting is very intimate - like you are eating at someone’s home. It is BYOB so that makes it very affordable for an elegant, romantic evening out. This is our new (somewhat) local favorite!

Our second time at Blue Bottle and we plan to return even though we live over an hour away. The Valentine's Day Prix Fixe meal was deliciously paired, expertly prepared and wonderfully served. Our wait staff, Brian, is an absolute gem. He also served us on our first visit 3 months prior and we were stunned that he recalled where we sat, what we ate and where we stayed for the weekend in nearby Princeton. He was extremely attentive without being intrusive and expertly ensured our evening was wonderful. The stuffed mushrooms and braised red roast duck crepe appetizers were off the chart delicious. Their Blue Bottle salad is simple yet wonderfully balanced. The pan roasted New York strip steaks were cooked to order, including rare for my wife which she loves, but at so many other places is poorly executed. The tomato confit with the meat was so good Brian bought us extra. We had decision anxiety on dessert, but were delighted with the profiteroles and pineapple upside-down cake with caramel sauce. They were so delicious that we went rogue getting a third ala carte dessert, the chocolate pot du creme, which was the best we've ever had.

Superb Valentines Day evening dinner. Only problem was how cold it was seated on the garden porch.
