We had the appies with a Shiraz and beer. The Ahi Tatar was not your normal tartar as the tuna was chunky and served with Nacho Chips. The Robs were amazing and a definate reorder as was the Prawn Shortbread. If you ever get to try the Onion Soup of the day have it as it was a deconstructed French Onion Soup which was rich and extremely flavourful. I wish it was a bigger service and I almost ordered a second bowl. All in all the di ning room atmosphere iwas fantastic All in all a GREAT evening‼️‼️

Everyting was good, except the food quality, most likely the coconut mussels starter. It is not made of fresh - some of mussels were firmly closed. We initially thought it would be ok, but both of us had stomach pain after about two hours when we were in cinema watching movie. It was painful for the rest of the night.

Excellent service - and even on a rainy day, the view is still beautiful. Food was delicious.

I had the crab cake and my partner had the salad, the crab cake was a good size, was nice and crispy on the outside but lacked flavour, needed some seasoning. My partners enjoyed his salad. Entrees-we both had the miso sablefish with risotto, we both thoroughly enjoyed this dish, the flavours were amazing. The only downside was the portion was small. Desserts were disappointing, I had the trio of cheesecake, it was served in a champagne glass, the cheesecakes were cheesecake bites, the three together didn’t make up a single slice of cheesecake. My partner had the diplomat cake, this was more of a custard with a graham cracker base and he found it to be “ok”. The server was nice enough but not at all attentive. Will we be rushing back anytime soon, probably not, if we did it would be for the miso sablefish which was the highlight of the meal.

We went to blue canoe for dine out which was great, initially the appetizers took a while to come out, but after they did it was smooth sailing from there. The Risotto was really well done, crab cakes were nice, and overall we really enjoyed the experience. We were also in a rush to pick someone up from the airport, and after asking to receive the entree and dessert together, the wait staff was able to oblige to get us out faster. All in all, great seafood house in a great location.

The service was good. The miso glazed sablefish was a bit on the salty side. The desserts could have been better.
