   The food was disappointing. My filet was so tough. The parm fries were mediocre and we didn’t get bread until after our dinner came. Not to mention I booked our reservation on open table more than a day ahead of time and I requested to sit outside because it was our last dinner of the trip and we live in a very cold climate. Request was completely ignored and we would’ve had to wait an hour. Besides that, our server was wonderful. His drink recommendations were great and he was very kind. Loved the cocktails, but would not come back.

   I went for Mother’s Day it was good but did not reach my expectations, I didn’t have a wow moment. If you going to offer fish like snapper or branzino and I’m going I pay $42 or $50 you better give me the whole fish not just a fillet.

   The restaurant is very nice inside. The food is very pricey and limited in choices. It has been years since were were at Bimini Boatyard. They certainly redid the location and added nice dinnerware, glasses and made the restaurant appealing. We felt like everything was a bit overpriced. $8.00 for a small loaf of Bimini Bread, you get only a piece of the Bronzino and not the whole fish for the costly price, $18 for a margarita in a rocks glass. It was a one and done for us. We went and checked it out, however I doubt we will be back. The food was tasty but nothing special that we would want to pay that kind of money to have again. Especially when you are trying to wow your Mother for Mother's Day. I know its an open dining experience, however spending that kind of cash while having to deal with flies is not our idea of elegant dining.

   Way too expensive for the food offered $45 for a doz oysters REALLY!, $40 ea ch mini filet of sword fish and a Mahi with the sides as extra cost. Came home and had a sandwich. Stay away it’s a gimick. The service was good Daniel was nice kept coming around to make all was fine. Not his fault. Go to Billy’s in Hollywood beach cost much less and you don’t leave hungry

   We had a great experience overall. Our server, David, never rushed us, kept stopping by to check on us, and everyone’s order was perfect. Even though it was Mother’s Day, everything went smooth. Could not have beem more pleased, Thank ypu!

   My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Boatyard last night. We started off with a drink at the bar and then were taken to our table outside. Lovely views overlooking the boats on the water. We had crab claws and the shrimp peri peri to start, branzino for main and shared the crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was perfection. Special mention to our fabulous waiter. We will be back.

   This establishment is consistent in its service, quality of food and offers amazingly good drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. Shawn, our server was so informative, friendly and accommodating. He knew the menu well and provided great suggestions. He was about as attentive as one could be. We started with East Coast oysters & a shrimp cocktail to accompany our Minty Melon & Golden Hour Old Fashion cocktails. The starters were very fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. For my main, I had grilled snapper with citrus butter sauce which comes on the side. The fish was perfectly cooked and not very spiced allowing the flavors to be expressed. My partner had the jumbo mussels & frites which was a very generous portion and come in a red sauce. Overall, the food was very good and portions sensibly. There are three areas for seating, the bar which offers high tops and the actual bar. There is outside seating and inside. The decor is nautical and appealing with plenty of natural light. The only word of caution I would have is with the reservation system. If you’re looking for a time slot that is not available on this app, call the restaurant before moving on. Tom, the manager, explained that tables may be available that are not available on the app in order to avoid over crowding and allow some walk-in business. A sensible strategy. I have been coming to Boatyard for many years and witnessed many changes but it has been solidly consistent in its quality of food, service and atmosphere.
