   Service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. If you are looking for a memorable place for dinner with incredible staff and a meal you will be thinking about the next day, this is definitely the place. My veal tenderloin was excellent and not something you can find many places, the menu has so many options there is something special for everyone. And when we left we realized the restaurant was full, but we felt like we were the only people there, a truly unique restaurant you won’t want to miss out on.

   Steaks were internally cooked to the correct temp but they were charred so much on the outside it overwhelmed the taste of the steak. It wasn’t a typical sear on the outside of the steaks, it was charred. Waited was also somewhat indifferent towards our table. Had us take our drinks from his tray instead of placing them on the table (table of 4) and basically frisbee tossed our desert plates onto the table haphazardly when bringing them to us. It was like we were secondary to his other tables.

   Restaurant was overbooked and not enough staff to handle to amount if reservations. We waited 15min after sitting down to get our cocktails and bottle of wine before ordering appetizers. Ordered a the Bohanan’s salad without walnuts but was served WITH walnuts good thing I am not allergic to nuts!!! Ordered the 24oz bone in strip medium rare. Was told to expect a warm dark red center. Steak was served with a beautiful char but when I cut into it was at a medium temperature. Manager came over and showed him the steak, he pulled out a flashlight to try and look at the color and then was wishy washy on the temperature. Asked me “does it at least taste good because it will take too long to cook another one.” Quite disappointing given the caliber of restaurant. They did ultimately take then steak off the bill but it left me with an empty stomach

   After 15 years since the first time my husband and I ate here, I was looking forward to returning. Needless to say, I should have just kept my memories and not returned. The steaks weren’t as flavorful as I remember and were a little on the cold side when served. Broccoli had no flavor and waitress never returned to check to see if we needed salt or pepper. Steak fries were good, but again, waitress never returned to check on us after our food was brought by another waiter. We would have liked ketchup with them. She checked on us when we had one fry left. I express the fact we would have liked salt and ketchup for fries and salt for broccoli. She said, “I can bring you some for your one fry if you’d like?” In which we replied, no thank you. The entire time, her attention was on a large table of ten, and ignoring our table and needs. When I pay a meal of $430, I expect impeccable service and flavorful food. Save your money and go to Chester Hamburger instead.

   We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding and the service above and beyond! Ana and Bobby took great care of us and were very personable and attentive. Ana had great recommendations as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend.

   Highly recommend when in San Antonio.. Our server was so attentive and recommended the absolute best on the menu. We needed up ordering what he suggested and had nothing. Ur great things to say. My dad even spiked some sauce on his shirt and our server appeared out of nowhere with a Tide stick 5 seconds after he spilled on his shirt. 5 STARS all the way through. Amazing experience

   We love, Bohanan’s. The experience is great every time. I hate the value question because it’s implies a price point that I just don’t think is fair here.

   Our meal was distractingly loud. Tables near us were yelling at the top of their voices to be heard. Slow slow kitchen service combined with a very attentive alcohol service contributed to the problem. My ribeye was thin and fatty. Not a great cut of meat but tasted very good.

    Food was really good but my wife is GF and we had some cross contamination . They said it was a kitchen area. Offered to discount our meal but that missed the point.
