This place was recommended by several people when we came to visit Colorado Springs. We were excited to try it. The menu looked great. I ordered the special filet with crab cakes and hollandaise sauce and my husband ordered the halibut. His halibut was very salty as were my crab cakes. My filet was cooked perfect. For dessert we had crème brûlée and it was the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately with the saltiness of our fish we wouldn’t recommend the fish to anyone. I will however recommend the crème brûlée.

We went to Bonny & Read for dinner to have a nice dinner while my friend was in town visiting. Everything from the drinks, food, to the service was amazing!! Matthew and Chey made the best drinks, and Cara our server was attentive, and excellent!

My wife had the twin lobster tails and they were delicious. Prepared perfectly, decent size and accompanied with small potatoes and asparagus. I had the filet mignon cooked medium which was extremely delicious and full of flavor. It is somewhat expensive but you can’t find a better restaurant for that special night out.

Our dinner experience was pretty GREAT - except even having a reservation we had about a 20-30 minute wait. That is expected on Holidays but what wasn’t expected was there was really no place to sit down and wait. Standing for any amount of time was not working (because of an injury) for one of our party and subsequently we did ask for a chair simply because that person could not “climb up” on a tall bar stool. Aside from that THE FOOD WAS GREAT and so was the SERVICE! Will definitely be back !
