   Our second stay here. Staff was prompt and friendly. Even during renovation, with a wedding going on. Rooms comfortable, easy parking. Love the traditional, historic look. Our family, has now been coming to the Boone Tavern for 3 generations. Keep up the great work!! Only disappointment was some menu items weren't available due to renovation, and we could not open up the window in our room. These are understandable though. Thanks again!

   The food was great but service was horrible set at table 15 minutes before anyone come finally brought us water after 25 minutes we ordered said the spoon bread was coming got our food before the spoon bread coke machine was down and they didn't have regular coke in a can my wife waited 20 minutes for a refill of sweat tea never once saw a adult all kids working

   We always enjoy our visit to Boone Tavern. It’s an hour there and an hour back. We enjoy the spoon bread. There are a number of little shops that you can visit after your meal.

   The spoon bread was wonderful. The black bean veggie burger was very good. And the burgoo is a new favorite!! We topped off lunch with the bourbon cake and it was light and scrumptious!

   Everything was EXCELLENT! From the front desk person to the waiter!!! Incredibly cordial employees all around! The food was some of the best I’ve ever had! Highly suggest this ‘tavern’!

   Our group of 9 found our table fully set and just waiting for us. Our waitress, Amy was very professional, friendly and attentive to our needs. We all enjoyed a wonderful meal and were not rushed in any way. An excellent experience where we shared a good meal, lively conversation in a relaxed setting.

   We went to Boone Tavern for lunch, which the website says occurs weekly. We asked for brunch menus. After roughly 10 minutes, we were told they were looking for the brunch menus. Another 15 minutes passed. We pulled up the menu on our phones. Service is SLOW. Our server, Jerred, however, was phenomenal! He was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient! The food was excellent, and portions were very large; no one went away hungry! We would definitely go again. Be aware you need to block out a good chunk of time if you visit, definitely don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

   Had a wonderful birthday meal for my wife. Location was a perfect meeting place for family who we don’t luce near to meet. Liz took excellent care of us.
