   I dined at Bourbon Steak for my 11 year wedding anniversary and honestly the experience was not what I expected. The ambiance, drinks were fantastic but the service was poor and the food was mediocre for what you are paying. My reservation was upon the restaurant opening therefore it was not yet busy for the server to be standing around talking. While I was still eating my appetizer they bring out my husband’s meal then mine separately (who does that). The creamed spinach was watery and lacked flavor. Then to end our night our server advised that they were gifting us 2 desserts for our anniversary which were fantastic, however she charged us for both and included a 20% service charge for a party of 2 which now explains why service was also mediocre. So now I having 2 pending charges for 5-7 business days of almost $400 which is just a huge inconvenience.

   The ambiance and service was superb. It was wonderful having a sommelier help us pick out a bottle of wine. The bone marrow was some of the best we have ever experienced. We thought it was clever to start with their complimentary French fry table starter. The filet was sub par and had to be returned due to overcooking first round. The second one came out the right temperature but was bland in taste. If you want a once in a lifetime pot pie experience try the Lobster pot pie it’s truly one of a kind. Would definelty go back but try a different steak. The dessert was delicious. We tried both the key like pie and the butter cake. Can’t wait to dine here again!

   Service was top notch and big wine selection. Food was amazing. We made a reservation, I would check prior to going in case hotel is packed or be safe and just book a reservation. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I think it was the manager who stopped by our table and help out. He was present on the floor and very engaging. We will definitely be back.

   We had a great dining experience at bourbon steak. The food was delicious, the service was great and it was a really nice atmosphere.

   Used to be my spot for a quality steak and to dine with my friends when they visit Miami. This time it was rather disappointing. The steak was served cold and undercooked (rare instead of medium as requested), lobster was cold. I recommend this place to a lot of my friends but after this dinner I definitely won’t. $400 for a cold undercooked steak and a glass of wine is a bit too much and disrespectful.

   Appetizers did not come out on time. They apologized, but did nothing about it. When the entrées finally came out, two of the three were wrong and were unsalvageable. They tried to make amends by offering us bread service which consisted of three heated dinner rolls. Our reservation was for 7 PM and we didn’t see our first food until 840. Ultimately, they wound up, charging me for my son to eat by himself full price for his entrée, full price for the bottle of wine we ordered, full price for our appetizers that came out 1 hour and 40 minutes late, and nothing for my wife and I. I repeatedly asked how it all went so wrong, they offered theories on the kitchen, being backed up, but generally were unhelpful. I think the manager, Yeyson, could have been more generous with cutting our food bill down from $750 to still $450 and should not have offered to charge full fare for my 13-year-old son to eat by himself while his parents watched him. And before he even attempted to modify the bill, he thought offering us dessert (after not eating dinner) was the move. Perhaps the “playbook” in these situations needs revamping. I was disgusted with the 2 managers that I just signed the bill and left to get my family out of there. Also, to have a restaurant include a 20% tip automatically when service like this is offered, utterly ridiculous. This is exactly why the tip should be allowed to be entered by the consumer. No chance of returning to this restaurant. They should have been ashamed, but instead, I never thought they really cared. It was more about making me go away than resolving the situations fairly/equitably.

    My 2nd visit this time was disappointing, not as good as the 1st. Service was slow. Beef lettuce wraps were overly sweet. They accidentally swapped our steaks (medium rare v medium) so we didn’t notice until after we started eating them.
