Upstroke Music präsentiert: OSKAR MARIA SWINGT! OskarMaria Swingt! Der Jazzbrunch im Literaturhaus geht ab Oktober 2024 in die vierte Saison: Immer sonntags laden Daniel Fischer und Julia Hornung vom Monaco Swing Ensemble ein zum musikalischen Rendezvous in die Brasserie »OskarMaria«. Gemeinsam mit befreundeten MusikerInnen der Münchner Szene lassen sie die Blütezeit des Jazz hochleben, vom Pariser Gypsy Swing bis zum Hot Jazz aus New Orleans, von Django Reinhardt und Louis Armstrong bis Stan Getz und Nat King Cole. Und so unterhaltsam leichtfüßig begleitet, wird aus dem Frühstück ein ausgedehnter kulinarisch-musikalischer Vormittag.

Wir konnten uns einerseits gut mit unseren Gästen unterhalten, andererseits konnten wir auch die Musik gut hören und genießen. Gerne wieder mal. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, die anderen Gäste auch sehr angenehm

Für diese feine Musik ist der Lärmpegel leider zu laut. Lässt sich wohl nicht verhindern, weil das an den Gästen liegt. Ein riesiges Lob an die Kapelle, die wie immer feinen Jazz ganz ohne Schlagzeug hervorbringt.

The atmosphere was good with Jazz live music but the service was very slow. We had to wait for our drinks for over 20mins & the tea water wasn’t hot. Seems like they have lots of service people but no coordination. It wld be great if they could improve in that area.
