Wanted a hot soup on a cold evening. The French Onion soup was perfect. Great salad with goat cheese. Exactly what I was looking for.

One of our favorite local haunts near Times Square, without the tourists. Good traditional Belgian cuisine, especially the mussels.

This is my go-to pre-theater restaurant. Service is always great. Food is always delicious. It's a limited menu, but that works in its favor. Everything they make is delicious. It's really lovely in the heart of the theater district to go to a non-touristy restaurant that feels like a neighborhood bar and restaurant. The fries are always outstanding. French onion soup is a sure bet. And not surprisingly, the cheese plate was the hit of the night. Desserts are consistently good, we've had the chocolate mousse and of course, because it's a Belgian restaurant, the waffles are always great.

Going to Town Hall being right next door was a wonderful thing. The wait staff are attractive and friendly. Food delicious. Wonderful experience.

Great experience - pre Town Hall event - at BXL Cafe. I would definitely come here again. Environment was Friday night lively, service was great, food was outstanding. I had the omelette (spinach, mushrooms, goat cheese) with pommes frites and salad. Really good!
