Café Mercato, located in Denver, is a modern Italian restaurant, owned and operated by Giancarlo Macchiarella of Locanda del Borgo

Mercato’s light and airy atmosphere and design permeates throughout the modern space. With a large open kitchen and large wine “library”, you will feel right at home sipping on a glass of select wine while watching the chefs create your meal.

The menu at Café Mercato is based on Southern Italian fare with a lighter approach. All of the pastas and sausages are made in-house, as well as gelato and desserts. Enjoy homemade pizza from our over imported from Italy and other selections from our wood-fire grill. Come visit us with your family and friends for our “family-style” specials, happy hour, Bon appétit!

Cafe Mercato has been one of our favorite restaurants. However, the last 3 times we have had dinner the food order was incorrectly prepared and had to be remade in haste while the other dinners at the table grew cold. Unfortunately this will be our last visit to Cafe Mercato

We had a very enjoyable and tasty meal. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was quite good — not super creative, but quite good. We will definitely go back.

We had a very pleasant experience. They welcomed us in a very special way. The food was exquisite and the place was very quiet, perfect for spending a perfect evening.

Been going to Mercato for almost 7 years and its declined significantly / higher prices, smaller portions, inconsistent quality, and some of our favorite servers / bartenders have quit from the garbage treatment from the owner. Do not waste your money

We love this place, and their sister store Locanda del Borgo. But their prices have nearly doubled in recent years. This used to be our go-to nice restaurant, and now we usually go to Cherry Creek to save money. (!!!!)
