The grilled Angus steak was cooked to perfection and the glaze was scrumptious. Our waitress, Amanda, was excellent. A little pricey for the early bird special but the food was sooo good.

Clearly the restaurant was understaffed. Our server was too busy handling all her tables so service was slow. She was pleasant despite the challenging situation. Of all my times at this restaurant over the past 10 years - this time was the worst from a service standpoint.

We have been going to Cafe Normandy for years and have like the ambiance and the food. However our visit on April 20th was very disappointing. The kitchen was really off that night. We ordered an appetizer and a soup. They came at the same time and were not delivered for about a half hour after they were ordered. After we finished them it was at least another half hour until our entry arrived. The food was quite good with the exception of the Annapolis crape which we didn't like but that may be just our taste preference. We are quite concerned about the price of our meal. We had studied the on line menu before coming and picked what we wanted to order. When the bill came every item was $2 more than we had planned on. This is inexcusable. If you raise your prices update your on line menu!! We do not plan to return.

Busy on Easter evening with servers covering many tables. Not as attentive as other visits. Food is good, nicely presented, Charging extra fee for bread seems a bit trite imo for a high priced French restaurant. And cloth napkins should be routine..

I couldn't leave town without another visit! Tonight I started with the French Onion Soup which was incredible, then there warm goat cheese salad which was delicious, the beef bourguignon with saffron rice was delicious! Finished up with a mixed berry custard pie that was heavenly light! Again, the staff was so super friendly and hospitable! Even the owner Jean Louis came out and chatted with me! What a blessing this restaurant is to Annapolis! A crown jewel!

Everything was exquisite! I started out with the Escargot and fresh baguette from the oven in which I dipped and sopped up the oil, garlic and parsley from the escargot. I had a moment with the french onion soup, after the first spoonful, had a flashback in the fashion of the food critic in the movie Ratatouille. Their FOS has got to be, hands down the absolute best I’ve ever had! For entree, I had the Menu Chefs Special. All 4 tastings were fantastic, especially the Filet which I asked to be as close to black and blue as possible. It was actually perfection! My waitress was lovely and suggested a half bottle of the Cotes du Rhone since they were out of the Jadot Beaujolais , which paired wonderfully with everything! What a gift this dining experience was! Merci!
