   Cap City is our go to for casual dining with always great consistent friendly helpful service, great presentation, food quality and atmosphere. We love sitting on the outdoors porch whenever the weather cooperates, which it did last night. I had my favorite calamari appetizer, done with a perfect sweet sauce and always cooked to perfection; a perfect dish to share with another calamari lover! I had my favorite black and blue salmon salad; again prepared to perfection, the salmon was grilled perfectly and the salad a great accompaniment. My husband had his favorite fish and chips, always a winner! Our server was very friendly, very attentive and took great care of us. Cameron Mitchell gets great kudos because service at every Mitchell restaurant is the tops!!

   Service was great! It was a little chilly outside and it would have been nice to have the heaters in. My food was ok, I have had it prepared better in the past! Overall though, it was great and will be back!

   We have been to Cap City several times and so have expectations. The food is very good. Our waitress somehow found that balance between attentive and not smothering. We really came for a good glass of wine and the blue cheese potato chips (which are to die for). I had the special (Walleye, my wife - a vegetarian version of Kabobs.). We sat in the small area near the front door (there is more seating in the main area, as well as an excellent bar and patio). We had a lovely little interlude, caught up on the week, work and colleagues. We’ll be back…

   I had ponzu glazed salmon and it was excellent. Server was Jordan and she did a great job, even though she was busy.
