Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Enjoy Carmine's classics catered to the venue of your choice. Our off-premises catering services range from a small drop off and set up for 20 to a full scale, off-premises event for 2000. Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.
Private party facilities
Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

Had reservation for 7 and was seated at 7:10, which is great for very busy holiday evening. I ordered turkey dinner at time of res but they didn’t have us in the list for some reason. After checking with the manager, our server was able to offer turkey dinner to us. The turkey was overdone and dry but everything else (stuffing, gravy, mashed white and sweet potato, carrots, Brussels sprouts and cranberry sauce) were all excellent. I would prefer them to go back to per person pricing for the dinner. We had been here with another family, but the amount of food for the $395 cost was designed for at least 6 people. In the past it was per person. Overall a nice time.

Amounts are huge and plenty for everyone! Family of 4 had lots of leftovers with 1 appetizer and 2 entrees.

My family and I ate here for the first time today. It was outstanding! Family style portions so really you only need to order a salad and one/two entrees( choice of pastas, chicken dishes, seafood dishes, and steak dishes! Carmine’s is one of the very best authentic Italian restaurants I’ve eaten at. Great food and great service!

The food was great. Service exceptional. The dang size of the dishes made for leftovers. We are visiting, so it seemed a tad wasteful. But that’s us. Y’all need to check this out

Dined here for Thanksgiving dinner and it was super crowded. This was fine for us as we were expecting a crowd. I was not expecting to have to wait standing over 30 min to be seated with a reservation time. This resulted in my back pain acting up and I was terribly hot due to the crowded space and wearing a heavy coat. This is not the fault of Carmine’s, but I was not expecting such a long wait time, I would have prepared better. We waited quite some time for dinner and was not really impressed with the usually good food. Again, I think the crowd size may have affected this. Our chicken was dry and broccoli was under cooked. I did love the bread pudding. We will definitely visit again, not around a holiday. Carmines in DC has always been good to us, so I will continue to dine.

Exceeded my expectations. Keep in mind all food is family style including appetizers and deserts. Will be backs the next time I’m in New York City!
