Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Your safety is our priority. As of 3/7/22, NYC no longer requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. Indoor & Outdoor dining are available.

Enjoy Carmine's classics catered to the venue of your choice. Our off-premises catering services range from a small drop off and set up for 20 to a full scale, off-premises event for 2000. Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.
Private party facilities
Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

We come here every year for the holidays. This time was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. The server questioned everything we ordered (chicken parm and penne with marina) and told us it would be “cheaper” to do the chicken “over” the penne. We said no, we want everything separate like we always do and that money was not an object (like why are you deciding what I want to spend?). We got NO bread service, no refills, and got a dish of literally lukewarm chicken over a serving of pasta that was at least half the size of what we’re accustomed to. Worse was watching the table next to us get a completely different experience (including bread!). From the same server. Not sure what was up but it was not ok.

The best hospitality, the best food and the best atmosphere! No one is ever sad when they are at Carmine’s. Today random tables, including mine, joined in singing ‘Happy Birthday’ with the staff to various tables; more than once! It was a fantastic time. We always leave with a smile on our face, full bellies and a bag full of leftovers. Highly highly recommended!

As always, the food was great! Our waiter Andre was phenomenal! He was attentive without being pushy and made our dining experience that much better!

We LOVE carmines, we always go when we are in NYC, but this time was awful. We are SO BUMMED. The waitress was late, rude and short with us. At one point she picked up my sons Arnold Palmer & never said anything to us. 20 minutes later when we asked about his drink she said, “oh there are no free refills.”… I replied “we would have paid for another had you asked.” She then put in orders of drinks for us but I know she personally sabotaged. She told other waitstaff she’d take care of us, but it was purposeful and neglectful. My Manhattan had too Much bitters in it, that it was dark brown in color. I watched her with the bartenders manipulate our drinks. We LOVE carmines, but was so upset about this experience. Alecia was our waitstaff name, beware.

One of the most amazing experiences in New York City, but word of the wise make a reservation as they were at capacity when we went! But service was incredible and food was out of this world!
