Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

Took my boyfriend's niece and nephew and they had a wonderful time. This was their first time at Carmine's. Excellent service, food was delicious and they had so much fun. Going to Carmine's is always a special treat. And they wanted to go again!!! Keep up the great service, Carmine's.

It's an activity just to decide as a table what to order: two entrees, three max, for a party of 5-6, plus salad (green is excellent). Not only ample but delicious. Service is attentive and helpful. The next table over there eas a proposal that we saw, and when the staff heard us clapping for the couple, they were on it: champagne came immediately. Fun, something different especially with out of town guests.

The veal was good but the dessert was tiramisu but all I tasted was hip cream. No lady fingers.

Carmine's is a New York institution. I was visiting from the UK and it had been 11 years since my last visit. In that time, nothing has changed except this time we were reminded that the portions would be huge! With this in mind, we ordered the meatballs and spaghetti which were delicious, nearly managing to clear the plate! The house Prosecco was excellent. Waiters gathered around tables to sing a raucous "Happy Birthday " to certain clients, adding to the buzz and energy that Carmine's delivers with such style. A must if you're visiting New York and fancy a good (large) Italian.
