Casablanca Seafood Bar & Grill serves the freshest of the sea to Miami. Reminiscent of Key West, the upscale casual restaurant is located on the beautiful, historic Miami River with a spectacular view of the illuminated downtown Miami. The fish market has the same charm on the Miami River that it had on Watson Island from all its fresh fish laid out on the colorful displays to the smiles on the associates faces when you walk through the door. Come visit our piece of heaven, seafood heaven that is, where we bring in the freshest catch directly from our boats into our fish market.

    Our reservation was for 9:30pm on a Saturday night. Our server Nisme was very busy with two large party tables directly next to us apart from the other small tables she had, and she just did not have time to attend us. She kept telling us to hold on or wait and left while we were speaking and would literally go to another table or go elsewhere and take forever to come back. I don’t blame her fully, as I feel there should have been perhaps more staff there working or she just shouldn’t have been given more tables than she could handle. We were there until 11:00pm which normally is pretty long for the two of us to dine and it’s because of how long it took for our orders to be taken and our questions to be answered. She was not too knowledgeable on the menu. Our experience was not that great and although the view of the boats and water were nice and the music was nice and the location was nice, the rest was not so great, Unfortunately. I don’t think we will return and I would rate my experience was sub-par/mediocre.

    We dined there before so we looked forward to the stone crab and grouper. It was great, like before. We went for it all and had the twin lobster tails, too. ( we skipped lunch). The river location was lively with yacht traffic that was especially entertaining. The waiter was attentive and made sure the service and food exceeded our expectations.

    The location is super. One dish was great but the rest quite average. The music was so loud that we couldn’t talk.

    One time visit never going back the food so expensive very low quality fish not fresh smells bad atmosphere and service like they want u to leave quickly lol

    We have enjoyed Casablanca on the River for many years and recommend it to anyone who enjoys sitting on the Miami River and fresh seafood. Their wine prices have increased a lot which made a fish sandwich and wine pricey for a casual restaurant. For the ambiance of water front, we will continue to be patrons. I encourage you to try them if you haven't already done so.

    The servers were very attentive to all tables and our needs. The Fried Calamari and Lobster Bisque were great, but I was disappointed with the Full Fried Red Snapper! It seemed as if it did not have any salt - This is not good! You could tell the fish was fresh, but if it does not taste like anything, then how can I taste it... Overall the experience was great, I would revisit!

    The location is nice. This was not our first time. It has been awhile since we’ve visited. The fish dip is no longer complimentary. It irks me when restaurants charge for soda water. One of the meals was put in incorrectly. An 18% surcharge was already added to the bill.
