A little too noisy to talk at a round table for 6 but everything else was wonderful. Our waiter was great.

The Muhamarra was amazing, our waitress very attentive and good. I’ve had the orchiette with grilled chicken before but tonight it was extremely salty. Not to the point of being inedible, but definitely noticeable and took away from the usual wonderful flavor.

Started at the bar, great service and attention by Scott the bartender. After being seated our server Jacky was spectacular. Never rushed us but always there when we needed something. And the food...Top Notch. 4 of us all had a different meal and all was clean your plate delicious.

Absolutely the best meal eaten out in a long time. Our party had the scallop appetizer followed by entrees of swordfish and Scottish salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection with wonderful flavors without anything feeling overwhelmingly rich or heavy. Heather was our server and she was attentive but not at all obtrusive. It was a very cold night but the tent area was nicely heated and we were comfortable even seated near the entry door. Overall it was a lovely dining experience.

Wonderful food! Highly recommend the pork chop, filet mignon and swordfish. Octopus starter was excellent too. Our waiter, Michael, was excellent.

We have eaten at Casbah for many years. Our experience this time was mixed. The fall salad, calamari and shrimp, muscles, and mushroom soup, all good. My family of 3 liked their entree choices; all with meat-duck or lamb for entrees. But I did not like my pasta dish. The quality of the gluten free pasta was good but the dish arrived partially cold and partially tepid. I like warm food. The waiter came by and asked how everything was. I sent the dish back to get warmer. It was returned in the same condition. The waiter did not check again. I ate it but was unhappy. A $400 dinner for 4 plus a bottle of Cava at the bar before dinner, deserves to be excellent. It was not for me. My pasta serving was small (my husband has received larger portions in the past) and had little sausage. The ricotta cheese was very cold. I will not order pasta again at Casbah. However, I have had very good experience with gluten free pasta at Alta Via (also a Big restaurant) in downtown Pittsburgh. There you can get a full portion or a half portion, your choice, and all are excellent.

The orecchiette pasta, though very good at other times, was insipid and flavorless.

Food was good, service was good and friendly. A little disappointed by our seat option; the restaurant was aware that we were there for a special occasion and we were still seated on the “patio” right next to the door. Overall, I can’t make any real complaints. At the same time, I wasn’t exceedingly impressed so it wouldn’t be my first choice for our next special occasion meal
